DJI Phantom Quadcopter Reel

Some highlights from the first 6 months of flying the Phantom with the Zenmuse gimbal. Very little post stabilization done in AE (if so usually warp stabilized at only 15%). Shot at 2.5K in 30p and posted in 24p.

Of all the flying, the only place that I got into trouble was the railroad bridge. While flying, law enforcement arrived and told me that it is a Federal offense to fly within 60' of railroad tracks. I had waited over an hour for the train that arrived 6 minutes before law enforcement did. It was a rushed shot because it caught me by surprise coming the opposite direction I had anticipated without horns. Only passenger trains post their schedules any more since 911.

The aerials from Africa are from Nairobi, Kenya's largest slum and Ethiopia. We hired security for both and had no issues but LOTS of attention on what the locals called "White Magic". Customs never looked in my suitcase with the Phantom and therefore never saw it. My gun case containing my tripod, mono-pod, and slider got all the attention. Thank you Lord!
