Attorney Ivo Labar had been looking at homes for two years until a brand new three-unit development in the Richmond District came on the market in November. Labar jumped on the opportunity. “A new condo is rare for San Francisco and it’s a nice neighborhood with shopping,” said Labar. Although he had the full down payment required for the loan, Labar elected to reserve some of his own cash and co-invest with FirstREX. “I just wanted to keep as much cash as I could on hand.”
