Constance Sepulveda was raised in Southampton. In 2003, she attended the Rhode Island School of Design and earned a BFA in Furniture Design. Coming from Latin American roots, Constance has a great appreciation of handcraft items and an international flair. With a background in furniture, she has honed her skills in upholstery, marrying soft and hard goods into her creations. She is the co-owner, designer and maker of Scout By Two, cofounded with her college roommate. This Fall she will begin her Artist-in-Residence at the Textile Arts Center located in Brooklyn.
With the theme of “Living Creatively on the East End,” 10 members of the community are invited to present 20 slides at 20 seconds each, yielding six minutes and 40 seconds per presenter. This is a great opportunity to establish new relationships, learn about local resources, and hear from the many artists, writers, musicians, gardeners, farmers, baymen, winemakers, chefs, designers, architects, and other creative professionals who comprise our region.
