Channel Surfing is an experimental final project in my Electronic Media and Culture course at MICA. The work represents a joint effort of the instructor (me), the teaching assistant (Pari Valad) and our incredible students to create a community video using projection mapping.
No one in our class (including me!) had used projection mapping before. We all watched the same tutorials, discussed the same visual examples, and together created an action plan for making our own DIY projection mapping funsplosion.
The students were fearless and undaunted as they jumped blindly into the waters of trying shit out. I am humbled and inspired by their commitment, vision and humor. The following video reflects the influence of media, reMIX and the interwebz on our collective consciousness.
So internet. Much projection. WOW!
