An on-site hairdresser in Malaysia's capital is offering poor and homeless people free haircuts!
Like every major global city, Kuala Lumpur has its underclass and men and women are unable to afford the basics of life. So four times a week they queue up here under the mono-rail to receive free food and medical care, provided by a local charity. But what makes this soup kitchen different is that there's an on-site hairdresser that cuts peoples hair for free. Hairdresser, Azmina Burhan comes out every couple of months and cuts around 30 people's hair each time. The service is getting more popular, as rising costs across the city force more and more people to look for ways of saving up. Azmina hopes to expand the service, and is looking for another hairdresser to work with her.
