Magis @ Salone del Mobile 2023

This year Salone del Mobile 2023 will be hosting Magis at Hall 2, where its products are the undisputed champions of unconventional design, merging several concepts and materials, with a focus on upholstered pieces.

Trave is one of the outstanding new products. Both the seat and the backrest are upholstered, the distinctive and supporting element of the chair is a single solid wood curved beam, which exemplifies a new way of using wood. Alongside Trave are the South outdoor collection by Konstantin Grcic, who also designed the Twain armchair together with Dutch designer Hella Jongerius.

Two collections have been expanded: Officina by the Bouroullec brothers now also includes a new outdoor table and a selection of new finishes, while Costume, the modular upholstered system designed by Stefan Diez, features a new backrest: paired with the already existing ottoman module, it creates a sofa with a much larger seat, more comfortable and informal, also available in the outdoor version.

The iconic Puppy comes in two new velvet-like finishes, while the Air-Chair and Air-Armchair designed by Jasper Morrison are now available in post-consumer plastic and exemplify Magis’ constant research and experimentation.

Brand new products and unusual designs are showcased against an open and neutral but richly detailed background, and highlighted by bespoke spotlights. Iconic furniture surrounds the displays, creating constantly evolving home interior solutions.

Magis’ style comes across through a display of new products, enlarged collections and iconic pieces available in a range of new versions and finishes. This striking exhibition layout, with an entrance and an exit around an enclosed central area, hosts a meeting room that immerses clients in a lounge atmosphere.
