David is a committed artisan who has traveled coast to coast for his craft. His credits include HGTV lifestyle television, spots for HBO.com and L'Oreal Paris, and captivating music videos for international and independent artists. In 2009 he received his first MUCH MUSIC VIDEO AWARD (MMVA) nomination for "Best Hip-Hop video". In 2012 he accepted Canada's STYLUS award for "Video Of the Year" as well as the "Best Music Video" honor at the LOS ANGELES ARTHOUSE FILM FEST. He has worked with legendary Hip-Hop artists, the likes of RZA (Wu Tang Clan) and MAESTRO FRESH WES. He has collaborated with popular music acts like MIA MARTINA, SHAWN DESMAN and KARDINAL OFFISHAL. His videos have featured rock icons like THE TREWS and SIMPLE PLAN. He has also directed debut videos for some of the industry's most buzzed about newcomers.
In 2013 David launched a music program on Canada's largest broadcaster. CBC Music 'Backstage Pass' is a weekly music show and marks a high point of Mewa's ascending professional career.
