A Tale of Three Rocks

Once there was a rock flooded with the sounds of wildlife and layered by the material movements of ecological vitality; a rock infused with the spirit of Chief Kiawanda from the Nestugga Tribe who bore witness to the colonial exploits taking place along the Oregon shores of Pacific City beach; a rock that locals now refer to as the Haystack, its colors and textures quivering from climatic and seasonal variation, until eventually its impression falls to sleep amidst the light of a setting sun.
