LUGUS // long arm of the light
Saturday 28th September 2013
Lugus is an on-going site-specific art project at Cody Dock, a newly discovered space on the River Lea. The old Victorian dock sits opposite the dramatic city skyline and is a fresh and exciting space for local artists and residents to get together in the midst of an industrial landscape.
This footage is from 'LUGUS: Long Arm of the Light', an evening of promenade performance, sonic art and visuals around Cody Dock. Artists performed together and alone, responding to the space while responding to each other in their improvisations. There was sound, light and colour, signals and data, emitting, transmitting, responding, projecting and communicating through an array of musical and non-musical devices.
