This was a short film for Grand Cinema's annual 72 hour film competition based in Tacoma, WA. We had exactly 72 hours to write, shoot, edit, score, color, and submit a film. The only conditions were that there had to be a flashlight somewhere in the film, a superstition of some sort, and a line of dialog stating, "That wasn't what I was expecting."
I think I slept about ten hours total during the whole thing.
We ended up winning two awards: Best Film and Best Use of Dialog.
