My final project for Documentary Video at UPenn.
This video is an exploration and social commentary on how people do not talk about poop using the Documentary Essay form. The reason for my exploration is a personal one, as I have Crohn's Disease and I want to raise awareness for IBDs. A reason these diseases are less known is because of the social stigma associated with talking about poop and the subsequent embarrassment of people with these IBDs that is preventing them from reaching out. Of course, this is from my own point of view and so the mood of the piece is very unique to my personality.
