the movie of sky lanterns is put together from movies at the big chill festival - see below. i have then taken some lines from a prayer by cheryl lawrie in the book hold this space (see proost.co.uk) - christmas confession. and then i simply ran this in keynote automatically triggereing fades in and out of the words. but a couple of people asked me for it and i only had it as a keynote file. so i put this movie together simply by exporting from keynote. the tricky thing is that when doing that if you have set a movie to loop in keynote, when you export it only does one run through (at least on the version i have). so i ended up setting three slides and timing it so that the movie worked with the words each time. it doesn't look quite as neat as in keynote but it still works as a standalone movie this way.
i used this at a work carol service at the start and played sufjan stevens beautiful version of o come o come emmanuel which seemed to go together well with the movie...
