A done deal: surgical systems strengthening

The Global Surgery Foundation (GSF) convened leaders at the 75th World Health Assembly (WHA), issuing a strong call to finance surgical care systems as a pathway to achieving Universal Health Coverage. Fiji's Minister of Health, Dr. Ifereimi Waqainabete, addressed the audience with a powerful message: the investment case for surgical systems strengthening is a done deal. It needs to happen.
