The main scene from this video was filmed using an "X-shot" telescoping wand with a ContourRoam action cam attached to the far end. Since I filmed from the waist down my hands, head, and upper body were free to keep track of the camera and the skateboard moving as needed yet undetected in the finished product.
I used Windows Movie Maker in Windows 7. First I slowed the clip down to 1/4 normal speed, then applied the special effects. This clip is the "money clip" in another full length video and was used in pieces to hold that entire video together. I wanted to see what it would look like on it's own and it held up nicely.
The spinning wheel during the credits was filmed with the same camera and wand only the wand was clamped to the board with an "Ultra Clamp" by PEDCO. The wheel footage was also slowed down to 1/4 speed and effects applied.
