This video brings to life the goals, methodology, and enthusiastic participant responses to "Inquiry in Rain Forests" - a graduate-level, professional development course for biology teachers taught through the non-profit Organization for Tropical Studies (OTS) in Costa Rica. This two-week course, developed by Drs Joe Levine and Barbara Bentley and currently co-directed by Drs. Joseph Levine and Kimberly Kellett, uses genuine inquiry-based experiences to support the goals and approaches specified by the Next Generation Science Standards. (NGSS). This course is certified for 2 graduate credits through the University of Washington, and for 96 CE/PD credits through OTS.
