We're in the middle of an ice storm here in southern Ontario (Canada) right now. As I write this, we're still expecting it to last at least another 12 hours with about 2-4cm of freezing rain still to fall.

When Rhonda and I woke up this morning, everything was covered in a sheet of ice about an inch thick, so we put on our winter gear, and I literally hammered the ice off the car (I couldn't even open a car door without doing that!), then we went out to see if one of the entrances to Mac Johnson was open.

We were in luck, the southern entrance was plowed, so we went in. I filmed and Rhonda shot pictures around there for about an hour. It was tough going through the snow, since some places the ice was thick enough to support my weight and other places it wasn't, so sometimes one footstep would be about a foot higher than the next one. It's always amazing to see everything covered in ice like this. It doesn't happen too often, but when it does, it makes for a unique sight!
