This timelapse documented my annular solar eclipse and star hunting trip to Taiwan on May 2012. The annular solar eclipse was taken in Taipei, while the stars were taken at Yushan National Park.

This was one of my first few attempts in timelapse photography. There were some jerking in the footages due to dead battery and some shaking due to strong wind. For the stars, I was using only one camera, so that wasn't enough footage for the whole length of the music, thus I played around with different effects on the same footage to get more scenes.

This was the first time in my life that I truly experience the meaning of "a sky full of stars"!

Camera: Canon EOS350D (stars), Nikon D70 (clouds and annular eclipse)
Lens: Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 (stars), Nikon 18-135mm (clouds), FL500mm telescope (annular eclipse)
