Lauren and Scott married this past November at the Mountain Top Inn and Resort. It was a mid November day and we all knew what a huge gamble they were taking with the weather. Would it be a cold, wet and 'raw', or would it be something else? Luckily, It turned out to be about the sweetest November day anyone could ask for in Vermont; not too cold, clear and sunny skies and even a few colorful leaves straggling along from the fall foliage. I met Lauren and Scott just a few weeks before the wedding when they came up to Vermont for their engagement session. We had fun that day and it was great to get to know this super awesome couple. Definitely the kind of people you want to be friends with from the minute you meet. I was looking forward to their big day and packed my thermals, glove liners, hat, boots, etc....in anticipation for bad weather outdoor photography. Luckily none of that was necessary, it was gorgeous outside. The day was filled with fall-themed details, simple yet elegant flowers and gifts of jarred pickles that the groom and his friends made for the guests. Another special touch to the day was a heartfelt ceremony led by Scott's dad. The day was full of loving emotions from family and friends and a high-energy party to celebrate. As the day turned to night, a stunning full moon lit the starry sky. It was the perfect end to a perfect day. Scott and Lauren, I wish you all the very best and thank you for the honor of photographing your wedding day!
