For the first time ever, I have flown a camera on the copter with the lens set to telephoto and the new brushless gimbal did a great job of stabilizing it. The Panasonic GH3’s 12-35 lens in this video is set to 35mm. This video is *straight out of the camera* and into Adobe Premiere CS6 with NO stabilization. There are some artifacts from the camera because I had it in full auto everything (including autofocus), which is not how I generally film things. But for this application, I was not conceded with the quality of the video, pre se.
Of note is the fact that this is a 2-axis gimbal, so there’s no stabilization in the yaw, or horizontal direction for now. I intend to add that at a later date.
