During a family outing, my wife and kids opt'ed for a Japanese meal. The Shabu Shabu is a healthy dish of boiled vegetables and thinly sliced strips of beef and pork. The sauces, such as lightly salted soy sauce and peanut butter sauce were a welcomed addition to this dish. This is a must have if and when you visit Japan. It is a favorite here and if you ask for shabu shabu, also spelled shyabu-shyabu, you wont regret it. You can either have it cooked for you but it is an experience to cook it yourself.
