24-year-old Daihai Fei is actually from China's Hunan province who moved to Beijing to attend university and make a future for himself. After graduation, Fei decided to build his eco-shelter due to the high rents in the capital. And that's how he came up with this sustainable egg-shaped house. Fei spent around one-thousand dollars to construct his bamboo-framed home. The house is completed with an insulating shell layer and covered with fabric bags filled with sawdust and grass seeds. With watering, the grass sprouts just like a living roof. Fei is now living in the house, which features necessary facilities.
