Early in December 2013 five of us from Hobart headed up to north-west Tasmania to paddle the Lea River. With some reasonable recent rainfall we were hoping for a decent amount of water but as usual it was ultra low. As always though a beautiful river and super fun. For the first time we decided to do it as an overnight trip to make the weekend a bit crusier and to give ourselves plenty of time to play with camera gear. Great to get out with others who were keen to both packraft and film it including legendary pro-photographer Wolfgang Glowacki, packraft expedition enthusiast Jarrah Velcoe and UK Outdoor Ed extraordinaire George Hugheston-Roberts.
