The 3rd book of John Chapter 1 Verses 3 and 4 says "It gave me great joy when some believers came and testified about your faithfulness to the truth, telling how you continue to walk in it. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth." No greater joy. I remember coming home on my first middle school retreat at Eastminster in the 6th grade and my mom was just in tears. Someone had shared with her that that was the weekend I'd asked the Lord to be the Lord of my life. There's no greater joy. No greater joy. I can't wait for the day that my daughter Kate will come to me and say "Dad, I believe in Jesus!" And I will remind her of the assurance of salvation that she has. Christ was made manifest. I've heard it. You've heard it. I'll continue to proclaim it. I hope you'll proclaim it with me. Next week I want you to come back and we're gonna take a look at how we're supposed to live it.
