As part of the Creative Recovery Network's Community Reporter Forum in Bundaberg in December 2013, Damein Aidon led a process engaging participants in painting words on trees using ochres. The words reflected how people felt about their communities nearly 12 months on from the natural disasters of 2013. The painting of the trees is a form of sustainable graffiti. The ochres eventually fade, crack or wash off the trees and return to the earth. The participants found this to be an amazing cathartic experience.
