A Golden Horizon - Filmed and named to give a glimpse of the beauty of an East Coast sunset. I set out to capture the ocean, the birds, and the brilliant evening sky in the brief moments of red-golden sunlight.
The video was shot in slow motion at 240 frames per second. The ability to capture ordinary things in slow motion allows us to see so much more than we normally do. We can see everyday, mundane things in a different yet beautiful way. I am fascinated by birds and flight, and I particularly enjoy seagulls. It is phenomenal to see them scattered along the beach, each doing something a little bit different. Watching them beat their wings and take flight or glide over the expanse of the ocean at 240 frames per second is remarkable. I hope that you enjoy this footage as much as I have.
The awesome motion-graphics were created and animated by Elisha.
