Based on the First Things First manifesto, I created a set of two posters with this multimedia piece to accompany the set. My take on the manifesto concentrated on the value of the dollar the designer would take to produce quality design work. A true designer would design for good rather than the amount they earn.
In the video, I began with the typical consumer ad that can equal high amounts of money. From there, as the magazine is being flipped through, there is a gradient of bad design to good while the value of the money goes down as well saying money should never be a factor when trying to design for the better. The best design comes out of the people who truly want to design for the good.
