For my course's "Repeated Observation" project, I had decided to focus on producing various portraits of my mother. With time, I had decided to also produce portraits of myself, comparing the images to recognize similarities and differences between us. After taking some digital portraits of us both I wanted to explore how one image could morph into another. Using photoshop I created a series of images that show one image turning into the other by using different opacity - these can be used like a flip book. In conjunction to these images I also created this video to see effect of a slowed paced "morph" - I wanted a slow transition so that the changes could seem almost unnoticeable at first.
