This video by Julia Ziaja was made during our last Cut-Out Animation class from our Tech Arts for Girls workshop series. During this workshop the girls explored the them of "Heroes". They were free to think of and express stories of what heroes are to them.
TechARTS for Girls, originally founded in 1999 by new media artist and professor, Mary Flanagan, is a community action project that encourages girls from the city of Buffalo and Erie County to receive an affordable hands-on education in computers, technology and media literacy.
