Mona Kim Projects was commissioned by UNIQLO
to create an integrated holiday campaign aimed to zero in on the product.
To make something uniquely Uniqlo, and to render the notion of "holiday"in a new way,
we drew from mundane acts of folding/unfolding, wrapping/unwrapping.
Origami-inspired folding actions of products animated in kawaii/kowaii (cute/scary) stop-motion –
as if they have a soul of their own– came to life on digital facades, cinema spots,
digital billboards, online. In flagship environments across 4 cities in Europe, US, Japan,
+200-LED-driven branded art installations at monolithic scale introduced
bold and brash "army" of products choreographed to original beat.
