Message from Samantha:
"So many people have helped me along this journey: kept me inspired and motivated. I call them my inspirators.
I could not fit them all into this mini doc. But there are two people I would especially like to mention/add to the costuming section of the film:
Kathleen Crowley, genius seamstress, couture designer. She taught me how to sew (as when I started touring I had yet to figure out how to sew a button) Kathleen has shared her skills with so many of us and also made beautiful costumes that I still wear to this day.
Mardi Love. Her work is Devine... Unique. Mardi Love is responsible for the Tribal Fusion costuming aesthetic you now see all over the world. An endless source of inspiration and my main influence. Everything she touches takes your breath away.
This documentary is dedicated to Kathleen and Mardi.
