11/01/14 - Today was sunny and the wind was calm. The first time I've had good flying conditions since investing in my aerial filming kit. The south of England has been battered by storms for a weeks, we even had three days without power at my parents house in Hampshire.
I went to Marlow because I'd heard that it had been particularly badly hit by recent flooding. Despite being about a foot lower than the high tide mark of the 1947 flood (kindly pointed out to me by a lock keeper), the flood was very destructive. Everyone I spoke to was effected in some way. Despite this everyone was very friendly and genuinely interested in what I was up to. So... people of Marlow, this is for you.
