KICKS: Eva Gronbach x PUMA Sky Hi (Unreleased Sample)
REVIEW: Honestly the Sky Hi silhouette from PUMA is incredibly delicate and actually quite a challenge to dance in. Furthermore, the story behind this pair isn’t a breeze either, as German fashion designer, Eva Gronbach, put a lot of time and effort into their make and concept only to have them never see the shelves of shoe stores. Luckily I got my hands (or feet, rather) on a pair and put ‘em to work.
MOVES: With such a fragile shoe it’s much more about toe and heel pivots, fast movements, and (unfortunately) less time living on the toes. Some highlights include the combos at 2:25, 3:40, and 4:08, and the toe tip tricks at 2:32, 3:12, 3:29, 3:55, 4:11, and especially at 4:25. Oh, and don’t mind the floor grab at 4:47... that’ll happen from time to time.
