It has been a while since we had such a large flock of this endangered species. The birds were located at Beit Shean valley hidden in a wheat field. Single birds are usually very secretive, but it seems that in flock behavior is different. While still hiding most of the day, the birds let themselves out of the field for long periods, taking hide only when an occasional Eagle or Harrier flies by. When out on the open, some individuals were posted to look out for danger.
