Level showed at Bayside, a Saskatoon shopping centre slated for condo conversion. Level consisted of a 4:51 minute mono audio track that played in a public speaker system at the entrance to the shopping centre. The composition of attenuated chickadee and crane calls mixed with the ambient sounds of the downtown area. From dusk to dawn, a rear projection of two stacked looped videos mixed imagery of cranes and other birds and creatures with the reflections and shadows of downtown in a Bayside window near the audio speaker. This piece was developed for a Mendel Gallery two-person public art exhibition called Spectre.
