It's Thursday morning, roughly around 4am. We are sitting in the Stamp Student Union. We had 24 hours to film three commercials. What did we do? We threw on some traditional vietnamese dresses for men. Yes, those two words don't belong in the same sentence. It's like a vietnamese equivalent to a Armani suit. Anywho, we go into a conference room, it's empty. And basically start filming random stuff. So, I told them lets do some music. I wanted to do Backstreet Boys originally, but then we went into a medley of songs. Probably about 20 songs.

Went to my office and started editing around 12pm. I was editing on two computers at the time because I had to try to push out 2 commercials at least. One rendered, I edited on the other. So originally when I filmed the music clips, I should have zoomed a little more. Back and forth, towards the end of the clips I got more comfortable with the shot. The "black screen" was just two black backboards. On tape, you can see a line in the middle that showed they were two separate pieces. I know you can see the white wall on the sides, I was lazy with the filming and didn't feel like worrying about was 4am. However, when I was grading in post (throwing on the "film look" filter. I played with the Luma, and I seemed to have darken it enough to make the blackboards look closer to "true black." This created the idea of a black screen. Which now, I kinda wish I was more serious and made sure it was framed correctly. Overall, the footage is not bad, I don't think. It looks amaturish, which is fine. I finished editing it around 3pm. The video is a bit dark so bear with me.
