Neighborhood Ministry is a vital part of the culture of CCV. Teams meet in their neighborhoods weekly to study and discuss the message from the previous weekend. These interactive discussion guides walk teams through a discussion based on the weekend service.
It’s been said, “They don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” Jesus demonstrated radical compassion. He demonstrated his love through his sacrifice for us on the cross. He loved the unlovable. In this study, Jesus gives us a definition of what it truly means to “love our neighbor”. In the parable of the Good Samaritan, everyone else walked by the Jew, but the Samaritan stopped and helped. We need to PREPARE in ADVANCE to do this. What are some needs you can meet in your team? On your street? In your community? In this session, we’ll see the impact that comes from ‘loving our neighbor’, and we’ll learn to PREPARE IN ADVENCE to meet the needs of those around us.
