SCREENING AT THE PORTOBELLO FILM FESTIVAL ON 31ST AUGUST 2014:
In Mercy For A Trespass is about a ceramic art installation that was built on a 1000 year old heritage site at Manor Farm, Ruislip in London.
The project was devised by Elinor Brass, Emily Orley, Fabiola Knowles and Constantine Gras. Local schools and community groups made over 200 clay pots and vessels for the installation and these were used to capture rainwater and raise awareness about our contemporary relationship with the environment.
The film also documents the historical background to the manorial court.
Poster art work by Elinor Brass. Additional film footage from Comings and Goings, Tracy and Hobbs.
