Chef Lee began his career at the age of 16 as an apprentice at the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong. After moving to Toronto, Canada he opened "Lotus" in 1987 and experienced tremendous culinary success for the next decade. He returned to Asia after that, consulting for the Tung Lok Group's 45 restaurants. Upon his return to Toronto in 2000, he opened "Susur," inspiring accolades from publications including Food & Wine and Gourmet magazines, followed by the opening of "Lee" and “Bent” in 2012. He has also been a featured chef on both Iron Chef America and Top Chef Masters. on the Food Network and Bravo.
