Sky 1's Moonfleet Ship Sequence by Screen Scene VFX
Originally airing in December 2013, Sky HD’s sea set two part epic, Moonfleet, Based on the John Meade Falkner’s 18th century novel of the same name, was adapted by Ashley Pharoah, creator of Life On Mars.
Starring Sexy-Beast-Cockney-hard-man, Ray Winstone, as Elzevir Block, the leader of a band of smugglers on the hunt for Blackbeard’s fabled lost diamond, the series co-stars Aneurin Barnard (Citadel) as the young newcomer inducted into the crew as they embark on the perilous mission.
Directed by Andy de Emmony and produced by Dan McCulloch, the two part series was filmed here in Ireland, utilizing locations in Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow.
