It has been said that the Old Testament is the “New Testament concealed” and the New Testament is the “Old Testament revealed.” In no place is this concept better illustrated than in the Old Testament images of the tabernacle and of the feasts. Through this study we will examine these object lessons as they give us new insights into the life and ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The tabernacle, which is the forerunner of the temple, reveals deep truths about who God is and how we must approach Him. We will see His beauty and holiness depicted in this ancient structure, and we will also learn about worship. Every detail of the construction and the furnishings of the tabernacle illustrate something important about Christ and how we can “meet” with Him.
