Saltwater State Park is a long walk/swim to the reefs, but they are really good reefs. As has happened all around the Puget Sound most of the sea stars are gone and most of the ones still around are sick. We found 5 species of rockfish and many lingcod with eggs. Two giant Pacific octopuses were in the rock piles shore-side of the reefs. The weather had turned very windy during our dive so we drove north to 3 Tree Pt for dive #2. There we found 5 more GPO's plus 2 wolf eels. I saw a small nudibranch that I had never seen before. One of the GPO's was out and seemed to like my dive buddy Pieter. These were two very good dives.
