On the morning of 16th January a huge blaze started at Gascoigne wood recycling plant, near Sherburn-in-Elmet.
An estimated 16,000 tonnes of tyres are involved in the blaze, which was reported shortly after 8.30am.
We decided to see what the fuss was about and set off on a cross country walk to film the fire up close. By the time we could get to the fire it had been burning for around 12 hours.
