Mark Winsick hails from Buffalo, NY, the "City of No Illusions." He's a master of the modern urban blues -- the kind that has been thrilling audiences in Buffalo, Cleveland, Chicago and other midwestern cities ever since World War II, played by the likes of Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon, Bobby "Blue" Bland and Buddy Guy. On this tune, written by the immortal Mr. Ray Charles, he's backed up by Steve Sadoff, bass; John Allen, alto sax; and Ray Hangen on drums. Recorded live at Sportsmen's Tavern in downtown Black Rock by Tom Weber Films.
