A short extract from a moving image documentation of an installation for the British Ceramics Biennial 2013. The installation was an experiment in the presentation of research as an artwork in a gallery setting.
Each object is a composite copy of three museum objects. Three bags of commonly used clay (Red, Buff and White [porcelain]) were hollowed out and the insides used to build on top. Writing methods were employed in their construction and poems derived from the nine museum labels influenced decision-making. The text projections are phrases taken from the poems.
