Antigoni Our Small Island Our Life

A small island in Marmara Sea, close to Istanbul, Burgaz once called Antigoni. An entire country and endless longing for them. Along with thousands of Greek minorities ( Roums )in İstanbul they paid for the political problems between Turkish and Greek governments and as a result departed from their so loved homeland Antigoni in their youth. Tried to escape from memories at first , for many years stayed away from Antigoni which was their fairy land once. They tried to replace Antigoni with other islands. Neither Burgaz lived without them nor they could live without Antigoni. The time has come to reunite old friends at their middle age..
