Adolfo Aranjuez is the editor of Metro, a quarterly magazine of critical essays on Australasian film and media. He is also the subeditor of media literacy magazine Screen Education and a member of Writers Victoria’s editorial committee.
Previously, he was the in-house editor at independent publisher Melbourne Books, the deputy editor of Voiceworks, and the editor of arts and culture magazine Fragmented. He also edited the annual anthology Award Winning Australian Writing from 2009 to 2013.
Adolfo has run workshops and been on panels for various organisations including the Emerging Writers’ and the National Young Writers’ festivals, and has been a judge for the Scribe Nonfiction Prize, the John Marsden Prize and the Meanjin Tournament of Books. His work has been published in Voiceworks, The Lifted Brow and The Emerging Writer, among others. His novella Amadeo: Changing Latitudes will be released by Garratt Publishing later this year as part of ‘The Third Space’, a series of works on interculturalism.
