Chaotic Robots for "Contemporanea 4" modern art exhibit in Terni, Italy.
The robots are 2WD rovers with motors driven by a "High Entropy BEAM" circuit (jwgoerlich.solarbotics.net/articles/hebeam.htm).
BEAM (Biology, Electronics, Aesthetics, and Mechanics) is a minimalistic approach to "intelligent" behaviour for robots. The motor driver circuit has only two transistors, two photoresistors and few passive components.
An openFrameworks application captures the video from a camera on the ceiling and overlaps the robots trajectories with a trail curve.
