Directed by Felipe Opazo. Trivia: I also play bass on this track.

Music VIdeo for Chilean Singer Celeste Shaw's song "No Es Suficiente" (translation: "it's not enough").

From the start i wanted to highlight the good vibes of the music/lyrics telling a very simple story about achieving goals in life using a couple of amateur sport enthusiasts who struggle during the video but end up succeeding base purely on will and enjoyment of the activity (plus the help of my lead singer OF COURSE :) ). It was fitting to feature "normal" people and not getting a super professional figure skater or the best cheerleaders in town, and in the end it was a great decision, since the video now has a "Latin American Feel" (it was shot in places that resemble a lot of different countries, maybe not even in just in Latin America) that i wasn't looking but i really like.
On the technical side, i shot mainly at maximum apertures using ND filters and tried to give the video a "vintage feel" by using a photo film stock (Fuji 400H Pro) on Film Convert, and adding some warmth and character in Da Vinci Resolve (mostly primary corrections, i used little secondaries this time), i really love the texture of the image, it might be to soft/dirty for some, but i like it a lot.
In the end, it's a simple, fun little video with a positive message.
Since this was a No Budget production (shot basically by myself, with my own equipment, without my usual small but efective crew), it was a tough but rewarding experience, i had a mostly untrained crew (save for the amazing work of Producer Carola Haydn, and my usual production assistant Isabel Muñoz who could only be present in 1/4 of the video) and we had to shoot exteriors during the day even between 11am-5pm (it's summer here)!!!. Sadly, because of the kind of production it was i had a couple of mistakes that could be avoided (soft focus in an specific shot, i didn't use an external monitor because of time/unexperienced crew, shakiness in another), but to be fair, i'm pretty happy with the results. ENJOY!

Camera: Canon T4i
Lenses: Rokinon 35mm T.1.5, Rokinon 85mm T.1.5, Canon 70-200mm f.2.8L, Sigma 50mm f.1.4, Tokina 11-16mm f.2.8. For every "Exterior shots" (85% of the video) i used Tiffen Indie Plus Shane Hurlbut Series ND Filters.
Other gear: Kamerar Big Slider (Manfrotto HDV701 Head), Aviator Jib (Manfrotto HDV 701 head), Kamerar QV-1 Viewfinder, Manfrotto 546 tripod/502 head, Manfrotto 547b Tripod/701 head. A Chinese Smoke Machine and a couple 500 LED Fancier Lights were used for the "locker room" scene. Kamerar Tank Cage and FF-3 Follow Focus were used very little because of the type of production, since i was a lacking an experienced crew and we were on a very very tight schedule.
