Rush hour traffic crossing Golden Gate Bridge north of San Francisco during the BART strike. This time lapse video was shot as a test of the new time lapse feature in the Nikon D4 camera. With the "time lapse mode" feature, the camera creates a time lapse movie file directly and immediately in camera. The camera balanced the setting sun, i.e. ambient light, with the headlights and tail lights of the heavy Monday-night rush hour traffic. Compared to traditional editing of time lapse files, the camera reduced the post-production editing to nearly zero.
