This a video I made with pictures and video clips I took of a running group I am in. But, before I get into talking about the running group, I want to first thank the many people and websites that helped me make this project a success.

First, thanks goes out to Chris Haigh for the awesome song he composed called "Full Winning Spirit". I found this song from I purchased the royalty free song from the site to use as the the background music. Please check out the website if you are looking for some tunes for your production. Thanks again Chris for the song. There is no way I would have finished this video if it weren't from some really cool tutorial websites that showed me step by step how to design this video with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe After Effects. I have listed the name of their tutorials and website address as links at the bottom of this description.

The camera I used to take the photos was my Canon Digital Rebel Xsi. (Yes I am saving up money to get my dream camera that has a build in camcorder.) Some of the video clips I took were with my Samsung Galaxy S4 phone I had with me at the time. Other video clips were taken with my Panasonic 3CCD camcorder, which is an old fashion camcorder.

The name of the running group is "Run Far". It was just started independently in 2013 through a running store chain in Charlotte, NC called Run For Your Life. The company's website is It is a wonderful company made up of fun and down to Earth knowledgeable employees when it comes to running. They have observed and recorded how I run to determine what type of shoe would best fit me. [They gave] tons of advice on how to train and stretch, what proper foods to eat and when, staying properly hydrated, attire to wear, nourishment of what foods during long runs, etc... These are just the main topics.

The store I have been going to for years is " Run For Your Life - University", which is near the University North Carolina Charlotte (UNCC) campus. I've been with the running group since I moved to Charlotte, NC in 2007. I have learned a ton of valuable running lessons and techniques from the coaches, staff, and people I have met. I've made many life long friends with this wonderful group of runners. I have been honored and privileged from becoming a runner who just knew the basics, to a runner who has become a coach and motivator. I highly encourage everybody out there to take this opportunity to promote yourself in staying physically active to improve both your physical and mental health. Enjoy running, run safely, and run far!!!!

Here are links that helped me make this project possible.

Feel free to send me any questions, comments, suggestions, etc.. This is my first top of the notch video I have made. I still have a ton of learning to do. Plan to post a new running video every year to my channel.

Thank You,
